Next Human-Animal Team Training begins October 12 from 7-9 PM with an informational orientation. Please call 970-491-2776 to reserve your spot.

During the informational orientation, attendees will view a video highlighting HABIC programs, recieve a packet of information to start the training process, and learn about HABIC's history, philosophy of service, policies and protocols.

A pre-evaluation of handler and dog is scheduled for October 19 at 6 at CSU Stock Judging Pavilion. Results of the pre-evaluation will determine the level of training each human-animal team participates in (Level 2 Animal Assisted Activity, Level 3 Animal Assisted Therapy). Training classes begin October 26 and continue for 7 weeks, one hour a week. It is required that interested persons attend the informational orientation before participating in pre-evaluations and training. The cost of training is $75.
